Vinoin (a.k.a. Vin) currently works with the Verasonics system for clinical translation of a photoacoustic system for deep tissue imaging. He is from Chennai, India, and has received his B.S in Biophysics and M.S. in Physics from Miami University. He is passionate about developing new imaging techniques that aid healthcare all while incorporating novel computational and experimental approaches. Throughout his education, Vinoin has served as a mentor for young researchers part of REU programs and enjoys collaborative work. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, trying new food, and taking apart computers.
